When i saw this skirt design on a sewing web, i fell in love with it straight away. So i went to dig out a lovely blue cotton fabric i brought way back n started sewing a simplified paper bag skirt.

 Front view. Waistline is 30 inch thus looks a bit loose on my mannequin.

Back invisible zipper. I can say that my zipper insertion skills are getting better after all the costumes sewing n practising:) YAY!

In progress: ? Character costume n school uniform

I really have limited knowledge on anime characters;( anyone can identify the character names for mi?

Gonna modify the school uniform blazer from a long sleeve shirt pattern n the collar from a seifuku pattern... Material is polyester provided by customer.

And for the guy cos, I modded the pattern from a guy t shirt pattern. That the only guy measurement sewing pattern I have... Keep disturbing my hubby to compare against him... Lol cos is the first time tailoring a guy cos for a real guy. Hope it turns out fine...
Material is poly with satin white bias tape.

Updates: purple base is completed. Looks a bit short though;( must ask cus to come fitting n alter on the spot if needed.

Updates: school uniform is completed... I love the material! Very easy to sew! Bt dunno how much does it cost...

A jersey jacket for my Sis;)

After my sister saw the vocaloid luka jacket I tailored for my customer, she also like to have 1 for herself. Not for cosplay of course, just As a casual wear. So we went down to get the fabric together n she choose this lovely violet jersey knit... Add a touch of lace to the pocket n I gonna add a bow brooch for the left chest area.
For the sewing pattern, I modded it from a jap magazine hooded jersey dress sewing pattern...
Will upload a tutorial on how to sew a basic hooded jacket in my next post.

Completed! one piece perona dress

Not sure of the character name... Is it perona? Gonna make into 2 pcs a tube top n layers long skirt...

The tube top will be constructed using black drill cloth n then the white designs will be either drawn on using fabric paint or lace...
The skirt will be constructed with poly cotton;)

Did the gathers until I headache... Lol! Almost done;) left the open ended zipper for the top n the painting? Or should I use lace instead like wat the pic shows? Hmm...

Completed! a black cloak

A simple cloak, brought polyester cloth for it. N lucky I have an existing cloak pattern from one of the cosmode magazines;) hope it turns out well;)

Almost! Left the gold chains only... My little son is so scared of this cloak when I am test wearing it... Lol!
